MOTORISED PALLET TRUCK TRAINING

On completion of this course participants will be able to

• Use electric pallet trucks without danger to people and property

• List the steps to take to ensure effective maintenance

Course Programme

• Summary of the 2005 Safety, Health and Welfare at Work Act

• Explanations of principle behind Pallet Truck

• How to deal with pallet loads

• Overloading

• Battery care and general maintenance

• Practical exercise and assessment of skills

Methods of Training

This course is based on classroom methods and practical lessons with Pallet Trucks

Duration: ½ day (3 hours Approx.)

Maximum number of participants: 3 people per course
